Shearer’s Heroic New Book
It’s a theme that boutique owner and fashion designer Neely Shearer puts forth in her new book “In Heroes We Trust: Street Artists and Their Heroes.”The book showed work of street artists from around the world, such as Okuda, Robbie Conal and Chase. The tome also quoted artists' views on heroism and people they found heroic.

Neely Shearer, the owner of In Heroes We Trust, a popular boutique, gallery, and sanctuary for the local community is now releasing a book of the same name, a collection of 60 street artists and the heroes that have impacted their lives. In Heroes We Trust is the (great) name of the great new shop I just discovered right around the corner from Abbot Kinney Boulevard on Westminster. You can't miss it because the street art on the sidewalks leads you right to it. There may be artists right there on the sidewalk making their art when you stroll up, as there was when I did.
