There was another fun party at In Heroes We Trust last night, this time to celebrate the work of renowned rock photographer,Guy Webster. The man who has recorded so many of the legends and icons of the rock and film worlds was there to sign his new book, Big Shots: Rock Legends And Hollywood Icons, and to be congratulated on his decades of capturing that rich history.

Venice boutique In Heroes We Trust threw a party dubbed Theatre on Dec. 5, and in a case of a party living up to its name, it was visited by Venice-style agitprop.

In Heroes We Trust is the (great) name of the great new shop I just discovered right around the corner from Abbot Kinney Boulevard on Westminster. You can't miss it because the street art on the sidewalks leads you right to it. There may be artists right there on the sidewalk making their art when you stroll up, as there was when I did. 

Another new spot high on the radar of local designers is In Heroes We Trust, just off Abbot Kinney on Westminster. It showcases a mix of independent labels, vintage finds, stone jewelry, hula hoops, mini dreamcatchers, all the essentials. If all of that isn't enticing enough, the custom murals inside by Chase and Isabelle Alford-Lago are certainly worth a visit.

This beautifully curated shop, is complete with local designers, pop artwork, vintage motifs, elegant and hipcentric jewelry and killer… and I mean KILLER vintage threads.
